Baby names!

While Bristol and I were getting our nails done this morning we talked alot about the new baby coming into our lives. She really wants to name the baby Rocky whether it is a boy or a girl but I don't know, I don't think that's very classy. So we  brainstormed some other, more traditional names. We don't know yet if it's going to be a girl or a boy so we made a list for each one. Picking baby names is SO MUCH FUN!

GIRL NAMES

  • Alaska (or maybe this is a boy's name?)
  • Jetta
  • Tungsten
  • SoCo (I've never heard of this before but Bristol says it has some kind of special meaning to her and Levi, maybe it's a fancy restaurant where they went on their first date or something)
  • Lynx
  • Pelican
  • Opalyn
  • Cialis (Bristol just made this one up! isn't it pretty? She's so creative.)

BOY NAMES

  • Pelt
  • Talon (or maybe this is a girl's name?)
  • Ronald Reagan (Mr. mccain is pushing pretty hard for this one)
  • Wrangler
  • Exxon (this one is sort of a family name)
  • Buck
  • Bullet (I like this one but there are already so many kids in Alaska named this, and I think he should have a name that's a little more unusual).
  • Gunner
  • Grinder

Any other ideas? Bristol is going to talk to Levi about these tomorrow so if anyone has any super ideas we can add them to the list.

Honestly, if I had any mud around, I think I might go ahead and roll around laughing in it. I never imagined naming my future kids this, but then, I'm from Minnesota. Maybe it's in the air. Oh well. I think ALL the names you just mentioned are WAY more creative than I could have ever thought of.

God Bless the Palins!

Oh. Another comment. Calling those "traditional" is...well...very, very weird. In the best possible way.

Grinder? I don't even know her!

Girl: Abstinence
Boy: Girth Lointhump

SoCo is short for Southern Comfort, which is booze. Cialias is an ED drug. By the way, a lot is 2 words, not one as you have typed it repeatedly.

This year, experiance matters. Why not show it by naming him/her/it after a verb ...err... "action word"? My suggestion: Burst.

Girl: Glacier
Boy: Sack

My vote is for Cialis and Gunner :)
You go, girl, with your speech last night!!!

Ali, you are so smart you should, like, edit Wikipedia pages.

Boy: Packsaddle (wonder if anyone gets this?)
Girl: Chastity (or Tity for short)

Another one:

Girl: Sohi (Estonian for bastard)
Boy: Bible

girl: Melanoma Carcinoma
boy: Chest Rockwell

I suggest Butcher, Strafer, Rifleman, and Grenade.

Those would work for boys or girls.

A great baby name for the Palin's would be "Prop".

Boy: Jesus II (make sure to use the roman numerals)
Girl: Amygdala

I think a proper boy or girl's name would be in the old indian tradition of remembering a symbol under which the conception took place "Punctured Rubber".

Ursus maritimus (the latin aka scientific name for Polar bear)-seeing that Palin is so fond of them.
Sounds like taht could go for either....love the blog!!!! Great job

Oh man I had a spelling error in my last post...darn...ok I have another one since I thought it was a sin to have sex before marriage and all the ultra conserv should love this one "Abstinencia" for a girl...perfect!!!!

How funny. I changed my Facebook status this morning to say that I was hoping to meet your other kids, Stirrup, Wisteria, and Spork. Those would be great names for Bristol's kid, though I think Wisteria is only a girl's name.

Bristol, what about Unity if it is a girl and Innocent if it is a boy ? I wish you and Levi the best and just remember, life is too short to worry about what anyone else thinks or writes. Levi, the world is watching ... You take care of Bristol and that baby :o) no pressure .....

Gov. Palin -- Congrats and I hope to be able too meet you someday .. as the Vice President of the United States of America!

Jennifer

If it's a boy, I like Coitus Interruptus (Coit for short)
If it's a girl, I like Immaculate Conception (Imma for short).
Hopefully, it'll be twins, a boy and a girl.
That would be awesome.
Question for Levi: Can you share with us exaclty where you were and what you were doing when you heard you were getting married.

How about "Bareback" and "Pinkslip"

Ok, that's funny .. However, they are children and we need to remember that.

Boy: Biggin
Girl: Happiness
