I'm just trying to breathe in and breathe out and remember that no matter what happens, I will still be the vice presidential candidate of the Republican Party right up until we WIN. After all, it's not like they can FIRE me.
Todd says that he'll be in the front row cheering me on, and he's going to bring a laptop so he can try and blog about my speech when the camera's not on him (awww...thanks hon!). He also suggested that if I get too nervous I picture everyone in the audience as mooses.
Listen everyone, I really wanted to put a part in my speech where I thank all you guys who read my blog. You have no idea how important your support has been to me. But when I asked the Mccain people if it would be ok to thank you they looked really scared and started asking a bunch of weird questions like "What blog readers? What blog are you talking about? Is this public?" I don't know what they were getting so upset about, I mean duh, obviously they must have searched for me on google and done months of research and stuff before they chose me as a VP candidate so Im sure they know all about the blog and about you guys.
I don't know yet if I'll have time to write again before the speech. i hope so. But if not...look for me on TV! I'll be the one carrying the Republican Party to victory (also it turns out I'm one of the only girls at the convention so I should be pretty easy to spot).
